This book is terrible, truly terrible. Which is frustrating because I like the series that comes out of this book, Bodyguards in Love. I take it this whole Men in Love series is about polygamy which just isn't my thing. I don't have a problem with it, I just can't relate or understand it at all. But that's not why I didn't like this. The book tried to do too much, way too much. There were several important plot lines and none of them got resolved. The book ends suddenly and I don't even know where the or if the main plot line is ever finished. The whole thing didn't make much sense without having read the first books of the series. Reunion is very, very different then the Bodyguards in Love series. The sex is mostly ridiculous. There are a couple of sex scenes which are fine, but basically any time a couple even walks by each other they want to have sex and they usually do. The mini-sex scenes are pointless and not at all hot. They also use the word "pussy" a lot which I think is tacky and revolting. I did get something out of it, however, which is what I read the book for: the beginning of Brier and Jackie's story which is continued in Brier's Bargain. The love story is very sweet but there are ethical issues since Brier has developmental delays. I had some difficulties with this and wanted to find out more. Reunion helped me understand better and be more comfortable with it so I immediately read Bargain again and was much happier.

Jake Sommers has just gotten a call from a woman claiming to be the sister of his buddy Gabe. Jake being the man he is knows he has to rally the troops and quickly to get to the bottom of what is turning out to be quite a mystery. While that is going on at the forefront – The entire gang makes an appearance they all get sucked into the drama that is Gabe past – while a few fires are burning in the back ground. While that is going on at the forefront – The entire gang makes an appearance they all get sucked into the drama that is Gabe past – while a few fires are burning in the back ground. This is the much awaited seventh book in the MEN IN LOVE series. From past experience with this series, you either love it or hate it and I love this series. This book starts off about a decade after we left the men and they all seem to be in good spirit and in health. A phone call puts lie to that theory when Gabe’s sister makes contact and a whole hornets nest is stirred up and the entire team rally around Gabe to get him through this trying time. Along with that intense and emotional ride with Gabe, a few other issues are bubbling under the surface and I am hoping these are future storylines that Ms. Lynne will follow through on. REUNION would not be in the Men In Love series if there was not an overabundance of smut. It was coming from left, right and centre and it was hot. The pace was fast and my hats off to Ms. Lynne to tie almost twelve people into a scenario and not make it feel cluttered and over the top. There was a natural flow to the story telling and she tosses in enough there to keep us on the edge of our seat for the next book to come. My only niggle with this book is the rushed feel of the plot – it was literally over before it began. As everything was done in hindsight and from sketchy bits of memory, there was nothing to love or hate about the angst – it was gone in a flash. With all the above said, I really enjoyed this REUNION book that has certainly given me a wonderful insight into the going ons of the men for the past decade.

I liked seeing all the characters again but because of the plot there wasn't a whole lot of romance or relationship stuff going on. I'm not a fan of girlie bits either, and though there weren't a lot and I knew there would be before I read it, I still had to skim over those parts. I'm very interested in Brier's relationship with Jackie - one of the best aspects of the books - though it does make me a little uneasy so far. I look forward to Brier's story. Really liked this book, except for the m/f (and menagés involving a female) in it. Those I skipped. All the m/m and m/m/m were awesome though!^^ I'm so happy the spin-off series will be all about the men, no vaginas around. *lol* Really liked this book, except for the m/f (and menagés involving a female) in it. 2.5 stars For me the weakest part of Men in Love . Though I admit I haven't read all of the books in this series and only a few of the follow-up spin-off Bodyguards in Love ... It was supposed to be a book featuring all the previous pairings, 3somes and other -somes of Men in Love - hence its title: Reunion... For me it left too many open OTT plots and unsolved OTT twists and ended up with a kind of cliffhanger - even if it's supposed to be the last book of the series. I'm not sure if I'll continue further on with Bodyguards... or if I'll ever get back to the first books of Men... . Sorry but I think I just lost my interest in those guys... :(

Well, that's what I get for reading out of order. Of course, I didn't realize that the Men in Love series was the pre-series to the Bodyguards in Love series. There were a few things that I would have liked to be explained better, and I guess that's the main reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The biggest thing that I was curious about was timing. This was set 10 years after the end of Tortured Souls, but Briar had only been out of his facility for 3 years? The biggest thing that I was curious about was timing. This was set 10 years after the end of Tortured Souls, but Briar had only been out of his facility for 3 years? It's not that it's not believable--Briar had killed his mother, kidnapped and beaten Declan and broken into the home where Bram and Declan were staying--but I'd have liked to know a few more details about what happened in the earlier years after Briar was reunited with his family. I liked this book but there was a LOT happening. I think it really should have been longer given all the things and people crammed into it. Still, I'll definitely be willing to reread it and the others in this series.

Carol Lynne gives us a reunion of the folks from her Men in Love series, and it was nice getting to "see" everyone again. The gang gathers together because a woman turns up claiming to be Gabe's long lost sister. Gabe has spent years in a fruitless search for the mother who abandoned him. As usual, everyone bands together to get to the bottom of things, and we get a nice picture of these men and women ten years after the rest of the series. I was surprised to see Lynne work in a story for Bram's brother Brier. It was good to see how she's letting that character grow. My only complaint is that the main conflict really isn't resolved. Rather, Lynne lets us know that there will be another book. A side note: I just don't see how five people can actually sleep in the same bed every night. I guess I'm just too much of a bed-hog to understand that one. ;)

I enjoyed this series a lot and this last book was the perfect wrap-up. We got the whole gang back together again. The storyline was pretty good. My only compliant is why weren't kate and ben really included in this story execpt for one small part at the table? I found that weird. I was one of the people that didn't have a problem with the whole fivesome thing Jake, Cree, and Remy had going on so it was nice to see what was going on in the fantasy land that they live on. The best part of the series in my opinion though was the side characters. I really liked Brams twin brother and Gabe's sister and those bodyguards. Anyway I usually don't read "reunion" books but I'm glad I gave this one a shot it was good.

This is a great book but some of the dates don't jive with me since I have read every Carol Lynne book (I know, sick, right?) but it wraps up the Men in Love series with the introduction of the Bodyguard series, which I love! In this book Gabe finally gets a lead on his missing mother who abandoned him when he was 3 years old. The plot of this story was decent and I found myself liking Gabe and Rex even more than I did when I read their book (that I ended up skimming before it even introduced Boone). This plot had much more mystery and intrigue and all of the characters came back to help out. A nice addition and end to this series.

I love the idea of visiting characters already into their love story. What I did not enjoy was the amount of questions the book brought into my mind. I am not a fan of the fivesome and am even less of a fan now. Where are the children Remy promised to adapt for Cory? It just left me with a cold feeling. I understand most of the story centeting around Gabe, but I was really hoping for some resolution from the sour taste Completing the circle left in my mouth.

Although I've skipped a few of the books in this series it was easy to read this installment. It was an interesting story even though the fivesome (3m 2f) was a bit too much for me. However, that's my personal issue and I'm sure those not bothered by "girl cooties" will enjoy the book more.
