Out of sight, out of mind. I’d been running for so long, I didn’t have anyone to leave behind. I liked it that way. No strings, no responsibilities, no one to even remember my name when I was gone. 3.5 stars After reading 'Welcome to the Darkside' earlier this month, I'm determined to read all the books in this series. The author had the reading order in her FB group, so I decided to check out the first book she recommends to read, Out of Sight. This one was really short, but I enjoyed it. It follows Cyclops and Tayline's first meeting. I don't remember seeing them in the second book (which is the only one I've read) but I'm sure they're in more of the series and I can't wait to read more! 3.5 stars After reading 'Welcome to the Darkside' earlier this month, I'm determined to read all the books in this series. 3,5 ✨ Giana is one of the sweetest authors I’ve ever met in this community so I planned to read all her books. With only this series and the new duet left, I was thinking about picking TFM after reading Dante and Elena’s story but I just couldn’t wait... so here we go. I have to say that I’m not a big fan of MC books; what I mean is that I like the world but I had a phase when I read a lot of MC books (yes, after watching SOA 🤷‍♀️) but I felt something missing in most of the books, either for the 3,5 ✨ Giana is one of the sweetest authors I’ve ever met in this community so I planned to read all her books. Anyway, since this is Giana’s most famous series and I really liked her writing before, I was really curious and excited to pick the books up. I’m usually not a big fan of insta lust/love but since this is a novella (from Giana’s newsletter) I let it slide. Matt “Cyclops” and Tayline had a lot in common and I loved to see them find each other and finally feeling like they found a home. Now I’m curious to see more references of them in the other books of the series. This was for sure a good introduction to TFM series and I’ll be picking the rest of the books soon. I’m so freaking excited.

They're introduced in Lessons in Corruption for the first time as Tayline and Cress were colleagues and Cyclops was a brother of The Fallen MC. I was really curious about how they ended up together. So, when I saw that they had a book and I'll get this it free if I sign up for Giana Darling Newsletter, I instantly went to sign up and devoured their story when I got it. It's so sweet! Definitely give this book a try.

This is a free short story about Cyclops and Tayline which if you read any of the fallen books you are familiar with these characters. It tells us how they met. I think this could have been an entire book instead of a short story, Loved Cyclops and Tayline, and how intense and fast their relationship started.

This was a great start to the Fallen Men series. It was a super short and fast read that introduced you into the mad world of Fallen MC. Tayline and Cyclops (Matt) have such a great instant connection and tons of heat. As two runaways, they are able to instantly feel safe with one another, at home. I highly recommend you start reading with this and then catching up! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Set pre “Lessons In Corruption” comes this short story of how Matt aka Cyclops and Tayline met. This may be short but it’s not lacking in the action department. A great beginning to this series and getting to know these two before they became part of the Fallen MC.

Tayline and Cy stole my heart so quickly I didn't even have time to say "Oh, my Zeus!". I was intrigued when I have finally found about the main characters of this one. I enjoyed their story so so much and I craved for more of them. Just my general novellas problem. They are too short and I want so much more. Make sure to check this one out. You won't regret it! Tayline being a wild child didn't surprise me, but she was pretty naughty! Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes I did like this one, but I would have liked it a little longer - a little more fleshed out. Other than that, my one complaint is that the injuring/healing scenes were a little unrealistic (and yes, I know this is fiction). Cy was in the hospital after a pretty bad injury that caused him to lose an eye, and he was running out of the hospital, fighting, etc., with seemingly no problems. Guess he's that tough?

i feel like reading this book retrospectively gave me more than it would have if i had read it before lessons in corruption. on the other hand, i understand why this novella is first in order. it's free (you can get in on giana's website) and it really sets the atmosphere of the entire series. so, if you don't like the atmosphere in this book, i don't think you'll enjoy the other books (but i can be wrong). i genuinely wish it was longer and i really hope i'll see cy and ty more in the series. i feel like reading this book retrospectively gave me more than it would have if i had read it before lessons in corruption. on the other hand, i understand why this novella is first in order. it's free (you can get in on giana's website) and it really sets the atmosphere of the entire series. so, if you don't like the atmosphere in this book, i don't think you'll enjoy the other books (but i can be wrong). i genuinely wish it was longer and i really hope i'll see cy and ty more in the series.

TAY AND CY's story was so beautiful !!! 😱❤️😫 Two teenage runaways, two lost souls found solace in each other from the second their paths crossed. Found safety within each other's arms, and had one permanent thing in their lives. As said in the book, " Home can be a person or a place", and they've found their long abandoned and lost home and love from each other. Together they felt invincible and safe, that they could be anyone, be at anywhere, and which ever direction the winds of their wild hearts blew. This love is so pure in it built from that pause in heartbeat, but forged into their damaged souls. ❤️🥰 Giana built these characters in a way that is unrivaled. She MAKES YOU CARE about her characters and their journey the second you meet them. 😭❤️She masterfully uses her words to cast a spell on you, one that touches your heart in ways you never thought was possible. She can make the happiest and heartwarming moments a tearjerker, a innocent touch the call of lust, and a single look the destined fates collided. She has the power over us to make something insta-lovey FEEL like well aged wine that gives your an everlasting aftertaste. She welds her words into loving and feeling the heart aches for the characters even in a short story. She draws something raw and emotional out of us and we will never see it coming. 😍

So damn good! This is a prequel of The Fallen Men series, and even though this is a short story, the author was able to present us such well written and real characters. Out of Sight is the story of Cyclops and Tayline, who you might have met if you read Lessons in Corruption from The Fallen Men Series. Tayline is the goofy French teacher and Cressida's friend. Cyclops is her brooding lover and a Fallen brother. This is the story of how they met and fell in love. We get to know more of Tayline's surprising past and how Cy joined the Fallen Men. I just want to reread it over and over again. Fun, sweet, exciting, and most definitely sexy with a bit of action. I read the first two books in this series a long time (about 3 years) ago, and don't recall a lot about them, except that I gave them both 5 star reviews and really loved them. So I thought, before I re-read them in order to familiarize myself with the club and the premise of the series, I might as well read this one first. Everything happened so fast, nothing felt genuine or gave me time to establish any feels for the couple or the situation they were in. Character/story development seemed like it was sacrificed for the sake of just more descriptive sex scenes (having more than one sex scene in a five chapter book felt excessive to me anyway). I guess because, it was assumed that you were familiar with these characters already, and this was their backstory. This was a free short story offered for signing up to the author's newsletter, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it after reading Lessons in Corruption.

Out of Sight is a short story about two characters we've seen a couple of times in The Fallen Men series, mostly in Lessons in Corruption/After the Fall and Good Gone Bad; Tayline and Matt or "Cyclops". 3.5/5 Ugh, it felt so good to step back into the Fallen Men world even if it was only for a short novella. I'm so glad to have finally read Tayline and Cyclops' story! While it may have been a bit too instalovey for me, it was still a fun action-packed novella that I don't regret reading. I just can't believe it's taken me so long to get to it. The only reason I'm giving it a lower rating would be the like previously mentioned instalovey feel and the few typos and such I spotted within. Out of Sight by Giana Darling is aptly named and the story is filled with action from the start. Tayline is a character that is underestimated by the people around her because of her looks. She is smart, courageous, and has the strength to protect not only herself but the one biker that would sacrifice everything for her. I love the world of the Fallen Men MC, but if someone hasn't started this series, I think this short story could be a great standalone read. Oh what a delightfully quick and dirty read by Giana Darling!!! This short story is about Cyclops, one of the Fallen men, and Tayline. They are both runaways, with no families. Maybe that's why they have such an amazing connection and holy shizballs, their chemistry is off the charts hot AF!!! Out Of Sight by Giana Darling ties into her much loved, Men Of The Fallen series. As expected it was just an incredible little story. Cyclops and Tayline's tale provides the reader with scorching chemistry, plenty of feels, and some very welcome guest cameos from a couple of beloved characters from the series. These two just fit so perfectly together and they really gave off that whole meant to be vibe. A moving story of two broken people with wounded souls finding love. LOVED this story of Matt a.k.a. Cyclops and Tayline--how they met and came to join the Fallen Men MC. Matt was HOT and sexy. Tayline was SASSY and smart. Together they were a combustible pair. This is an action-packed, steamy, exciting little tale. Oh, did I mention Zeus Garo makes an appearance? YUM!!! You do not have to have read any of Giana Darling's Fallen Men Series to thoroughly enjoy this wonderful novella, but I highly recommend you do! LOVED this story of Matt a.k.a. A perfect novella! A great start to an amazing, and I mean AMAZING series! Writing this after reading the whole series may seem weird but it’s fine because I’m doing it!! Cy and Tay and their story was so beautiful—loved the connection. The family. The love. I felt it all reading the gorgeous writing of Giana! This is the story of two lonely and lost souls connecting and finding one another—truly something!

I love The Fallen Men and I always wondered about Tay and Cyclops. This is their story. Short but so steadying, I love how he didn’t know her but protected her instinctively. Yes it’s violent but it’s an MC club so of course it is. I loved it, and I can’t wait for Priest and Bea’s story! Giana Darling did it again, I love everything she writes!
