"One day you will know that the world is a beautiful place to be and that you are so loved.” A 10 year-old holds a letter to the light, trying to read the handwritten scrawl that looks so familiar. At the bottom of the lined page, finished with a confident flourish, is a similarly familiar signature. The realisation comes, with a shock - it’s a letter from the child’s futur "One day you will know that the world is a beautiful place to be and that you are so loved.” A 10 year-old holds a letter to the light, trying to read the handwritten scrawl that looks so familiar. What does it say? If you could write a letter to your childhood self, would it be a handbook of survival, a missive of near misses? Or a soul-lifting celebration of triumph over adversity? In this heartwarming anthology, twenty-five extraordinary everyday people write to their 10-year-old selves, delivering wisdom, witticisms and warnings aimed to smooth the winding road into their future. Along with the lessons learned from the highs and lows of growing up, comes the reassurance of experience and the cumulative benefits of endurance, destined to provide a guiding light to those looking for inspiration. * This book discusses concepts about teen and adult life and how the author would like to inspire their childhood self to prepare for them. It is therefore written for adults, but we believe it's also suitable for your children (mature 8+) and teens.

Absolutely truly inspiring Anthology written by 25 brilliant authors. Real life letters of the authors written to themselves to inspire and guide them for what's ahead in their life's journey. We never know the cards we are going to be dealt. To hear these authors overcome so much in their lives and for you to feel as if your living in their shoes whilst reading each chapter is why a good read is actually a GOOD READ! Really took me back to my earlier years and realised what I have learnt. WELL DO Absolutely truly inspiring Anthology written by 25 brilliant authors. Sensational read for all, young an older alike. I have Paperback copies with the printers now, as I, and numerous friends love the page turning feel, so I can sell copies as soon as they arrive. One of my work colleagues is reading this book with his 13 year old Daughter, another with his wife, another with his 15 year old Son, several to support our writers and share with their own networks from a family perspective. We can all share and grow from the experience of others. We can read these cha Sensational read for all, young an older alike. We can all share and grow from the experience of others. We can read these chapters and embrace the better people with-in and around us. We can share and encourage many to be able to draw on the strengths of these authors, (myself included) to learn to love ourselves first, to accept ourselves as worthy individuals & create a much better space to bring our future generations into. I love this Anthology.
