it was a really good book. I struggle with poems but this one I understood well and was able to connect with many of them...

2.5/5 Thank you to the author for sending me a review copy of this book; this review is voluntary, all thoughts and opinions within the review are entirely my own. Perfect for fans of Rupi Kaur or Atticus. A stunning poetry debut, Benedict’s short, free form, and reflective poetry delve into love, life and the world. The poems pondered a wide variety of themes, and their concepts were mostly intriguing, I particularly enjoyed ‘a conversation with Plato’. Personally, I don’t often read a lot of modern poetry so sometimes I find the style a little jarring. I would have liked to have seen more cohesiveness throughout the poems, and the poems were a great beginning point but I wish some of the themes had have been a little more fleshed out. All The Stars You Forgot About, overall, is a good poetry collection especially for those who like to read modern poetry but it does have some room for growth.

The writing style reads a bit younger sometimes but that makes sense as the author was y People always say that poetry is a hit or miss but I think with poetry compilations it can be both.
