    This is a how-to book on starting a KETO. Diet and comes with both advise and recipes. There is a lot of information in this book. The ketogenic diet is a very popular diet. While the goal is weight loss, the author also emphasizes that it is a life style. The benefits of weight loss and disease prevention are reviewed. The book goes through how food is processed in the body and what is reasonable for a weight loss goal. They emphasize adequate water intake and the use of a multivitamin. Where to find additional information is also given. This book is easy to read and flows logically. I think that this is a good recipe book. In addition I think that the ketogenic diet is explained very well. If you are going to start this diet, after checking with a medical professional, then I think this book would be a very useful tool. I really liked the recipe section and will be trying some of them for sure. The recipes are creative and I am sure they will be tasty. Overall, this is a well written and conceived book. As a health professional, I must leave caveat that I am not promoting the use of this diet. The review was based on the book and its advise alone.
