   Is there good information in this book, sure. Is it worth your time and money as a leader to purchase and read it. Possibly. Not likely. Would I recommend it, no way. I would estimate that 1/4 to 1/3 of the book was usable information. The rest was the same garbage that the girl journeys are compromised of. Much of the usable information is vary basic, maybe good for someone with no knowledge of outdoor skills. Honestly though, the council training was much more informational and I felt much more Is there good information in this book, sure.    A very basic overview of how to get girls outside into nature. Some valuable information if you've never been hiking or camping, or been a Girl Scout.
