Graphic Novel The Princess is actually a detective though she still feels the "pea" through many mattresses. The premise is a bit stretched but the humor is terrific. 3.5/5 Stars Private Eye Princess and the Emerald Pea is a new take on the Princess and the Pea geared towards children in this Graphic Novel remake. In this version, Princess is a Private Eye, along with her beagle, Pants, solving the crime of a missing emerald pea. The illustrations and story are simple, colorful and kid appealing. It was a very quick read, simple and straightforward.

Oooh, I enjoyed this! The Princess and the Pea spun on its head and made into an incredible detective style graphic novel. I’d love to get my hands on more in this series! Love these pages at the back on visual prompts too! Just great!

A cute tale about the young private eye who finds a missing jewel. I don't normally read graphic novels but this one was a nice quick change with wonderful graphics. the Illustrator Fern Cano captured the young investigator and her side kick nicely. Written by the husband of one friend. Will be giving it to the daughters of another friend. Friendship is good.

Really nice version of the story, nice setup, graphics and atmosphere. The only thing it's missing is better ending more in line with the story (rather than the original version).
