Best for care and maintenance of cast iron
The beginning of this book is the best part. It explains best practices for caring for your cast iron. The recipe section was ok. For experienced cast iron cooks, the recipes were very basic and sometimes the ingredients didn't make their way into the recipe or or there was some other problem. Lack of professional editor propably. Best for care and maintenance of cast iron

Interesting read
The book is very informative if you can get past all of the typos. The typos are irritating to me. I guess that is the teacher in me. This book is a great resource for a cast iron newbie. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes.
