After the short-sharp-shocked method of the last collection, it's nice to be able to hunker down with a longer story. Herein, Frank is searching for the brain-expanded Dr. Boiffard and ends up on an island where Robert Rodriguez is married to a shapeshifting mermaid. Deep truths are reached as Frank tries to live a new life for a little while, as well as try to reconcile himself to who he may or may not be. A touching story on the sci-fi tip. The usual pinups, photos, and other stuff pad out this After the short-sharp-shocked method of the last collection, it's nice to be able to hunker down with a longer story.
