A really unique cookbook for a unique cooking method. There were only a small handful of recipes that I felt my husband and I wouldn't enjoy. What was even better is that there was a nice selection of meats used in the recipes. The author managed to bring in some unique pairings with a lot of veggies which I adored too. Can't wait to get in and sample the recipes. A really unique cookbook for a unique cooking method. There were only a small handful of recipes that I felt my husband and I wouldn't enjoy. Worth buying, even if you just pick up the Kindle edition. Can't wait to try more than a few of these. If I should get around to cooking again at some point. Great and practical Extraordinary! Clear, motivational... since I love cast iron cooking this book gives me not only great recipes, but, best of all, practical crystal-clear tips to use and care for my cast iron cookware. And the recipes are creative and practical

I'm so glad to have added this to my cookbook library. It's well-written, with easy to follow recipes. It's definitely a recipe book, not a coffee table photo book, and I expect to put it to good use in my kitchen. I appreciate that the dinners are split into weeknight and weekend sections depending on the time involved in making them. I've bookmarked several recipes to make right away, and expect to try most of them in time. I'm a big fan of "The Lazy Gourmet" and so this was on my must-buy list. I can't wait to get started!

I just bought a cast iron frying pan a couple of weeks ago, so when this book popped up in one of my bargain book e-mails I get, I immediately downloaded it. Recipe-wise, a lot of things sound interesting and there's not a whole lot of obscure and annoying to find ingredients. I want to make a whole slew of things, which is always a good sign for a cookbook. Unfortunately, for a cookbook (and an ebook at that) there was a disappointing lack of pictures. Half the fun of reading a cookbook is looking at the food porn pics in it. AMIRITE or amirite?
