This is the latest novella in this series I've read, and each on I rated 3-4 stars more 4's then 3. I'm not going to keep reviewing them, you can read the 1st 10 to see what I thought or you can download the first one for free on Amazon I really recommend you do that if you like witch stories or funny British humor.

Come to find out, the twin was sleeping with her husband and when they told her she was reckless driving and died. They saw it, but instead of calling it in, the twin assumed the life of the dead twin and went on to live with her husband. Then when the husband started straying again, she went to the private investigator to try to scare him into staying with her. There are other cases going on in this story too. We find out that Jill turned down the offer to be the first level 7 witch. Instead she is a level 4 now. She is living with Jack and things are going well. She has still kept the secret that she is a witch. Mrs. V still works for her but only part time. The other part of the time, her secretary is Jules. The twins are married and still running Cuppy C. Aunt Lucy is married and still doing the same stuff she was before. Grandma is pretty much the same. Mr. Ivers works at the toll booth that Jill has to go through every day so he is still annoying her until the very end when he gets relocated because he was going to slow because he was talking too much. I think that is about all of the wrap up! Good book-- onto the next!

Another so-so story... This series is really hit and miss and this one was a miss. the plot was pretty thin, scattered, and the main character was downright nasty in spots. She is becoming more and more unlikable as this series goes on.

Same old same old, but fun and mindless!

Still going strong So after 12 books, you would think there couldn't be my more mysteries for Jill to solve but you'd be wrong. Ms. Abbott continues to entertain us with her mystery, the witty banter between the characters and the star of the show, Winky the cat. My only complaint is the romance between Jill and Jack is very non existent but this isn't a romantic mystery so it doesn't take away from enjoying the books.

Overall an Excellent Series While I did enjoy reading "Witch is Why Time Stood Still", book 13 of "A Witch P.I. Mystery" series, I was slightly disappointed with this book in that it jumped past twelve months worth of events that kind of left the reader hanging . Additionally, the storyline seemed choppy, even somewhat strained. Overall a good read, but just not what I've come to expect.

I like the movement in the series plot. New intrigue, relationships, mysteries to solve. Jill is quirky as ever. Winky continues to torture her.

Time Does Not Stand Still This has an introduction for those who have deprived themselves of the joy of the first books. Those of us who have read them all (such as myself who can't stop, like eating Sweetarts for me) may enjoy the refresher. There are a lot of books before this one. If you don't have Kindle Unlimited, this series is worth it, if you love humor with your magical mystery. There are a LOT of changes in both Candlefield and Washburn. On the same day, Jill gets a job in both places. I Time Does Not Stand Still This has an introduction for those who have deprived themselves of the joy of the first books. This is a decidedly different adventure for Jill and Jack. What, I have to say it the other way?

I especially like it when Grandma is in them. She is the best character. A lot has happened since the last book. This is a catch up and update. It's good but Jill is a bit annoying that she won't progress her witch skills a bit more.....I never really think her and Jack are that suited. But we'll see how that goes. Kathy still fairly annoying too, but she always is. No sure what I am hoping for next. Much more of Grandma and Barry and some good cases.

A lot can happen in a year A lot has changed in Jill’s world and this book really carries the story even further. In addition to solving a variety of mysteries, Jill is settling even more into the human world while keeping busy in the magical world. I really liked this book because it focused more on Jill and less on the antics of those around her. Although there was still a good amount of amusing action from those on the sidelines.

Funny and entertaining. A witchy private investigator series And urban fantasy cozy mystery series. A witchy private investigator who must straddle to worlds the human world and the supernatural world. She has family in both and spends time in both solving crimes and finding trouble. Always a bit quirky with a little bit of sarcasm but a whole lot of fun. One of my favorite cozy mystery series

Quiet Riot About to start the 14th book in this series of Supernatural/Mortal high jinks and while no one will ever mistake these books as literature ,they are perfect reads to offset the constant bad news of Covid19/Anarchists drumbeat. Its fun trying to figure out what 'digestives' are or the hundreds of other terms the English use to describe everyday objects. As books offered through Kindle Unlimited ,they are worth every cent.

Time is unpredictable For Jill time falls into categories: Too much time on her hands, Not enough time to do everything and stop the clock! As usual there are several jobs to do....but they all come at once. How can Jill get it all done? MAGIC, of course

Oh! What Fun! What fun is this? Jill tends to get into trouble no matter how good a job she does. One thing is for sure, she still loves Jack and her job. Can't wait to read the next installment.
