This is the 11 novella in this series I've read, and each on I rated 3-4 stars more 4's then 3. I'm not going to keep reviewing them, you can read the 1st 10 to see what I thought or you can download the first one for free on Amazon I really recommend you do that if you like witch stories or funny British humor.

She discovers that he keeps disappearing at a spot called "The Central". When Jill goes to investigate, she finds the basement of the Central covered in pictures of her with a date circled on a calendar a week ahead of where we are now in time. Who has been stalking her and why!? I still am really interested in these books. I hate how much of a pushover Jill is when it comes to Winky, and her grandma, and her friends and family... but they're still very cute stories and hard to stop since they all end on such cliffhangers!

It Just Keeps Getting Better! I gave this book five stars - Adele Abbott is a very gifted writer, weaving an enthralling yarn that mixes mystery, humor, the paranormal using wonderfully developed characters who are both endearing and wickedly funny. Highly recommended!

Jill's complicated romantic life is also resolved but has she made the right decision? And sadly Winky her cat has a more significant than usual role. Easy reading forgot in moments. The Plot:Jill solves a murder in the human world and a lesser mystery in the sup world. The Protagonist(s):Jill Gooder is a witch who is a PI with a thing for custard creams. Jill was adopted, so her adoptive family doesn't know she is a witch. But even she if wanted too, Witchy rules say she cannot tell them. Jill can be amusing, is determined and is impractical. If you read my reviews, you will know that Jill has the most irritating 🐶 and rude 🐱. Even her twin cousins Amber and Pearl get on my last nerve. They have another nutty idea. But there is something addictive about this series. Perhaps it's Grand Ma who is easily my favourite character. Grand Ma is a savvy old curmudgeon, but she does not suffer fools. So Grand Ma gives silly people short shrift including her granddaughters Amber and Pearl. There are also chilling characters, like Ma Chivers, Grand Ma's rival. They are both level six witches, but Ma Chivers is a daunting character. And Jill who is not a level six witch buts heads with Ma. There are many subplots and crazy characters to keep the reader entertained. Including Grand Ma dressing up for reality TV which is a laugh. While on the other hand, the intimidation of TDO rackets up a notch. It's one of the better stories in the series and worth a read. In the more human side, Jill is sad to see Drake move out of Washbridge on the alleged reason of her dating Jack. Her and the twin's enemy Miles and Mindy screw over the family more by opening a rival PI company and deliberately smearing Jill's business and also opening up a rival wool shop with rival subscriptions opposite Jill's grandmother. Also Jill's long lost father is being tailed on the request of Jill by Daze. He is suspiciously disappearing outside an abandoned building which Jill cannot stop herself from breaking and entering to see what he is up to. Final thoughts Jill is such a push over when it comes to saying no to her grandmother, the bloody cat and her sodding sister. Kathy really ruins this series for me. Shes so selfish it drives me up the wall. I'm excited to see how Jack and Jill get on. Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes

This one was one of the best. Loads with grandma (who is my favourite) and loads more about witches. The twins have mad ideas again. The 'bests' have another new idea. What is happening with Jack and Jill. Not enough of Barry but we see a bit of Hamlet. Winky has a big storyline. Kathy gets a lot of time. Lots of good characters and hard to fit them all in. Can'\t wait for the next book......

The TDO Plot Thickens Jill's family, on both sides, are nuts. Even Winky's brother! Jill and Daze come up with a theory about TDO. As Jill investigates, a chilling development. Best gets a taste of his own medicine. Just a taste. For now. Jill and Ma Chivers have a run in. Not good. This book carries the story along nicely. It must, because I am going straight to KU to get the next.

Gooder times I’m quite hooked and hope the series doesn’t go dark and put me off. I’m fond of the light hearted problems surrounding each of the characters. I like the edge that the super villain adds. Just please no prolonged imprisonment and torture episodes! So far so good!

Nice cliffhanger A fun read, as always, until things got really serious. More antics by the twins. Dating becomes a bit more serious with Jack. And then there is Jill’s father, who could be TDO. The book ends on a great cliffhanger. Enjoy!

Another fun story In the continuing saga of our friendly PI/witch , her skills grow in both professions . Abbott cleverly manages to end each book on a cliff hanger, and love or hate Jill Gooder, our curiosity always gets the best of us.

Stuff got serious all right So Jill is getting stronger as a witch and, finally, she has the start of a love life. She still has challenges with her one-eyed cat and her family. Unfortunately, it looks like TDO, the dark one, has Jill in his sights. Love the continuing saga.
