My actual rating is 3.5 stars. This is part of the Dragonlance universe. In this one, a mage has a thirst for conquest and he has acquired a flying citadel that will allow him to achieve his conquest. It is up to a small group to stop him. This novel was a solid entry for this universe. It had your typical Dragonlance tropes like the knight, magic, and of course a kender. The book was well written and it had character building moments and action scenes. The book was pretty much linear in its story My actual rating is 3.5 stars. The book was pretty much linear in its story telling as one most likely could guess where the book was going and how it was going to get there. This was a solid read and I was entertained throughout. It didn't blow me away but I was never bored and I never regretted my decision to read this. I would recommend this book to readers who would like to spend some more time in this particular universe.

The citadel is one of the many book set in the Dragonlance world, but it is, by far, one of the best. It has been year since I have enjoyed a book so much, or stayed up so late to read "just one more chapter... or two". A red-robed magic-user, a cleric, a warrior, and a little kender are the only hope against him.

Another interesting book but add nothing to the main story. This story is about the floating citadels that flow through Ansalon. I read this book a long time ago. I can't even remember about it. I'm trying to find a book I read fifteen years ago... I wonder if this is it! I'm trying to find a book I read fifteen years ago... I wonder if this is it!

Probably more of 3 star, but was my first Dragonlance book that I grabbed at the library one day. Little did I know how many of these books I would eventually read.
