First off, the packaging this give-away come in was ADORABLE! I know that has nothing to do with the content of the book, but it was such a joy opening the packaging. Now, onto the content. The concept is cute, the illustrations, while simple are sweet in a sort of quilted clip art kind of way. There is a little person hidden on each of the pages, which I'm not too sure about because it seemed a little random, but it was kind of cute. I think if there were illustrations on the "if you were. . . " pages, it would look better because right now there seems to be a lot of blank unused space. The "you" on the "but you're you that's who" page is different than the following two "you"s'. The only other thing I would change is the ending rhyme; it ends a bit abruptly. However in the big picture, as a book intended for toddlers, it's a nice short book. There are a few pages that have a lot of blank space, and that could effect the children's interest, if they don't have a lot to look at.

I won this book as a giveaway and I think it's a great book. It has a good overall message about self-esteem along with some fun rhyming that small readers could read. I'm glad to have it as part of my collection. I won this book as a giveaway and I think it's a great book. This is a fun book to read with a little one. The illustrations themselves can start off conversations. To ask a child to use his/her imagination to come up with additional ideas was well executed. ***I received this book through Goodreads Member Giveaway. The opinion is solely my own.***
