Considering Self Publishing? Read This As someone who has two non-fiction manuscripts in progress and a novel I found this book very helpful. He not only outlines the structure, royalty payments, and the benefits of publishing shorter non-fiction pieces, but he has links to other helpful books and products. Reading this makes me sure I'm on the right track as I prepare to e-publish on Kindle.

Wow! Amazing book. Really! I read many books about self-publishing, but this one seems to be "REAL". Real life experience. Short, but full of great information. One note: I do my outlines still old school - on paper cards :-)) I feel old, when I read about amazing outlining in the Scrivener :-)))

Worth reading for ad words This book is worth reading just for the advice on Google Ad words keyword tool alone. The writing style is also fun. Consider - " Typos and bad grammar will sink your Kindle book faster than a rabid wombat gnawing a hole in your kiddy pool."

Skimps on the post-launch stuff, but otherwise not too shabby In the home stretch, the author suddenly announces he's holding his tips on book promotion for a future title. It might've been better not to mention it all, but "Write Short Kindle Books" still has a lot to offer.

This book has tips, but overall it's like the author read this book to make this book - not a lot of amazing stuff in it. It has a lot of common sense strategies and things I've read elsewhere. In a word, this book was "meh."

A short book about writing short books! It was exactly what I expected: brief, rapid-fire pointers on writing Kindle eBooks. It contained the obligatory self-promotion and cross-selling I've found to be common in these books, but that's not necessarily bad. One cross-selling link may actually become a future purchase for me. It's worth what I paid for it (which wasn't much; it was an impulse buy) and if it helps me make some money publishing short books, I can say I got paid for buying Meunier's A short book about writing short books! Inspiring read & new perspective Having a handful of unfinished book projects that have turned into beasts myself, the concept of writing shorter books makes sense. The author did a nice job of outlining the process and providing pro tips. Definitely a book I would recommend to others. A must read Detailed, straight to the point and not lacking in author personality. Also, I enjoyed the author bio. He enjoys writing about nerdy stuff. Gives me hope that I can profit from writing about what I love.

Challenging but agreeable This book made me think of splitting up my book into multiple small books and then selling what would have been one book, as a box set book. Gotta play the game πŸ˜πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

I like the idea that the author, encourages you to write short stories, to help you boost book sales. I mean i went with it to make short stories instead of writing a door stop. I agree with him it is easier to write short stories than to right big book and takes forever to do so. But i do agree you need to write something to either help with their daily lives or giving them a story and enjoy the book. And not right trash, just to make a quick buck.
