    1) The Roller Coaster Curse When I was a kid Fun World was the place to go. There were go-karts, video games, bumper boats, laser tag, & miniature golf. By next summer, they would have a wooden roller coaster built. That was worth looking forward to. Later I learned our family would be moving to another state. 20 yrs. later. As a grown up with a wife & 3 children I took them to Fun World. Unfortunately, the wooden roller coaster ride was closed permanently by the FBI. As a grown up with a wife & 3 children I took them to Fun World. Unfortunately, the wooden roller coaster ride was closed permanently by the FBI. What did the dad find out from the elderly custodian? 2) The Zookeeper Lions & tigers eat about 60 lbs. of raw meat a day. The local zoo has 7 lions & 4 tigers. Adam’s (12, school) school research project is about the feeding of the cats. Gus (head zookeeper) would give Adam lots of information. What was the 1st thing Gus told Adam? 3) The Wishing Well There's rumors that this park is haunted. Well the water fountain is. There was a lot of money in the wishing well. I was kind of broke so why not take a few of the coins. $2.00, oh why not how about a few more coins. 4) The Toy Maker All the boys/girls loved to go to the toy shop. The old man loved making toys for the kids. He made puppets & their names were: Isabelle, Paul, Tyler, Destiny, Danielle, & Malachi. They all sat on a shelf behind the cash register. The puppets however were not for sale. 1-day, Isaiah (5th grade, spoiled, bully) & his mother came into the store The toy maker was not fond of this troublemaker either. Mom spent $6.79 on him, but Isaiah was not happy. It was summer & Isaiah came back to the toy store by himself. The Toy Maker took a liking to Isaiah, so he came back again/again. Probably 1 to many times. 5) The Cafeteria Lady Springdale Elementary School. Betty (cafeteria worker) loved her job & the kids. Soon Betty was going to be promoted to cafeteria supervisor. The next day Betty went to see the Principal. The school board budget only allows so much money per school yr. to work with. How did Betty solve the problem of making enjoyable meals for the students? I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (elementary; MS age) educational storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars. Thank you for the free author; BookZio; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; book Tony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

I gave it four stars. Written for Age Level: 8 - 14 | Grade Level: 3 - 9. Disclaimer: These stories include blood, zombies, and other scary elements which may not be suitable for some readers. There are five stories in this book. 1. The Roller Coaster Curse would be a good one for telling around a campfire or at a spooky party. It leaves you wondering. Will the missing children ever return? Was it really cursed? 2. The Zoo Keeper made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. It was seriously scary. There are more missing children that will not return. 3. The Toy Maker is a kindly old man who makes puppets. Isaiah who is a bully & disrespectful comes into the store with his mother. He wants one of the puppets behind the register which is not for sale. He ridicules the toy maker for having something there not for sale. Later he comes to the store without his mother & no money. He steals two little cars. Will there be justice for this obnoxious bully? 4. The Cafeteria Lady is a sweet lady named Betty. The principal tells her there's no money to make the food better. Betty finds a unique solution. Will the new sandwiches be a hit with the kids? 5. The Wishing Well presents a question, is it ever okay to take the money out of a wishing well? I downloaded this on Kindle to read to my daughter who loves scary stories. I was extremely disappointed. Not only were the stories ridiculous and not even remotely scary, the writing was some of the worst I've ever seen. I don't know how it made it past an editor. Verb tenses changed several times per sentence, the wrong "whose" was used, and the sentence structure was terrible. Don't bother with this book. Stick to Goosebumps and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

This book is kind of like Goosebumps for kids but in short story format instead. Some of the short stories were only a page or two and several were several pages. The Good: Writing was well done, I only noticed a few errors throughout the book. The artistry was well done, if not a bit on the small side on the Kindle. These stories would be pretty scary to a young kid. The Bad: Several of the stories were in the first person and I’m not sure why but that annoyed me a little bit. Overall, they were pretty sound scary stories for kids. None of them were too graphic until the final story about The Cafeteria Lady. It wasn’t gory graphic, but still talked about biting and ripping flesh off necks, so definitely give it a read first before handing it to a kid.

It's an amazing book but quite frankly not good for younger kids. I loved the book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes scary creepy stories like that

This is a book with five short stories: The Roller Coaster Curse: All the kids want to ride this amazing roller coaster and some don't return. Will they ever? These stories are not for really young kids. I read them and they gave me the creeps, which is great for Halloween.
