I really enjoyed this book, a very interesting read. I use to live in Soho so it really fascinated me on how people use to live back in the 1800's. I really enjoyed this book, a very interesting read. I use to live in Soho so it really fascinated me on how people use to live back in the 1800's.

When I choose to read this book I was surprised to find it a factual book. When I read the blurb I was given the impression that it was a fictional version of the cholera epidemic in SoHo in London. The book was fascinating as it looked at the individual people affected by cholera. It also looked at the man who discovered the source of the problem and formed the evidence to stop the cholera. Judy Allen captures the history of the epidemic and tells the stories well. Bravo!
