Probably would rate it a 2.5. It was supposed to be motivational, and it was, but on such a shallow level that it was hard to garner deep meaning from it. I wished it had more details about exactly what Mandela's struggles were and had more substance to it, but I didn't know much of anything about Mandela before this book so it did spark my curiosity. Repetitive and simple it was too simplistic, something you may read in elementary school. author repeats himself over and over, no real new information shared that you couldn't read on an article about Mandela's life.
