Love the well thought out recipes. Have no cooked them yet but i have read through them I would recommend this to any vegetarian and some recipes to vegans — some have eggs which vegans probably will not do. Looking forward to time in the kitchen

The recipes look good, but I missed having photos of the recipes in progress or the finished dishes.

Not really what I had in mind with a vegetarian recipe cookbook. They're largely just recipes that don't have meat and none that really were alternatives to traditional meat dishes.

Great selection but no pictures. I really liked this book it contains a huge selection of recipes so I think it would be difficult to not find something you like, I've been vegetarian for nearly 30 years now and like the author my house is split, two vegetarians and two meat eaters so I tend to make a vegetarian dish plus meat in some form to keep everyone happy, after reading this book I can see how I've narrowed down the dishes I make, you know what it's like I have my favourite dishes like eve Great selection but no pictures. For example I make a lot of soups, they're easy to make and freeze well but I tend to stick with my favourites, think I'll try some different ones the 'Broccoli and Potato Soup' sounds good along with the 'Cauliflower' and the 'Roasted Red Pepper' well so many of the soups look good, as you've gathered I love soup. Another interesting dish is the 'Feta baked in foil' I've never even considered doing this but I'll be giving it a go, would go well with a nice salad I think. Like I said earlier there's a lot of choice, 100 recipes and as well as covering meals there's also some skincare recipes in the back. Two things I didn't like, firstly there's no pictures, at all and I like to see a picture of what the meal should look like. Secondly, and this is just my opinion but I don't think the picture on the cover does the book any favours, it certainly doesn't appeal to me. So even though I like a lot of the recipes and will be giving them a try it's not really working for me without any pictures inside. Another thing which didn't bother me but I thought I'd mention it, there's no calories or nutritional information.

Everyday Vegetarian Family Cookbook: 100 Delicious Meatless Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Recipes you Can Make in Minutes! (Healthy Cookbook Series) Really interested in this as we've now started having more stir fry type meals. No pictures and no nutritional information. A bonus section, recipes for skin products. Other books by the author are highlighted at the end. What I liked about this book was the different combination of ingredients, that gives me an idea of what I can use in my own recipes. Basic recipes. Nothing terribly unique to inspire me but maybe a good place to start as a new vegetarian. Always a surprise to me to encounter eggs and dairy, but not like I paid for this so can't whine it's not vegan. Laurel's Kitchen was where I started and I had to learn to substitute there, too, and lived to tell the tale. Actually, Laurel's may be why I was underwhelmed here. So much nicer to get a good story (and friendly artwork) with your recipes, plus that has the great tables for nutri Basic recipes. Interesting beauty treatment recipes in back of book. Good sounding recipes of easily obtainable ingredients from the garden or local grocery store. The ones with pumpkin, quinoa and bean will be the ones I try first.
