As parents we want the best for our kids...safe environment to grow up in...healthy environment-emotional, mental, and physical. This book helps in that area-it's God centered and who best to consult than God. He created us-He knows us better than we know ourselves. Fantastic book to have, for anyone thinking about having kids or those of us who already have kids. It's a great guide.... I think what impressed me the most about this book was that in order to successfully train and raise children, the parents need to have their act together first—because without setting a good example, you can talk and punish all you want and it's not going to be beneficial. At all. The language may sound ‘old’ but the message and principles are clear; this book has excellent advice on child raising, and if y’re kids are already grown this book may help explain why certain characteristics developed.
