This is an adorable and educational book for children. I love the artwork and the ease in which this story is presented. This is the kind of book that children can come back to over and over. The lessons are good one and simple to be applied while done in a rhythmic poetic way. This is such a good subject for children especially since it is very hard to get them to eat healthy diets. This is something that can help them throughout their lives. Learning early on about taking care of their bodies a This is an adorable and educational book for children. This is something that can help them throughout their lives. Learning early on about taking care of their bodies and eating foods with the most nutrients is something NOT to be taken lightly. This book really hits home for me because when I was growing up my parents didn't know better so they fed me what they thought was good, red meat, saturated fats, and sugary cereals. I had to learn in my teens how to have a healthy diet but it took me having to go to "Weight Watchers" camp to learn these simple but life saving hints. Had I learned this earlier in life it would have saved me from being an overweight adolescence which in turn would have saved me a lot of heartache from being feeling bad about myself because of my weight and being bullied because of it. I applaud the author for having the gumption for making this kind of picture/story book available for little children.
