There are some beautiful and poignant poems and songs based on the sinking of the Titanic. It paints grim pictures of women holding their children over their heads to keep them safe and how their story ends. It brings to life, the horror of the thousands that died that night. The poems were written by both unknown and famous poets and songwriters. It is a sign of how much the tragedy touched people of all ages and classes. When you hear the survivor tales make you realize how terrible it was for husbands and wives to be separated and the decisions that were made by several couples not to be separated. I listened to the audiobook and it was chilling to hear the words of the time, in song, poems, and newspaper articles. Another compelling book covering the Titanic.

I'm so impressed with this collection of Titanic articles, poetry, etc. What fun this was for me to read! Titanic or maritime enthusiasts will certainly love it. Rossignol even penned (and is sharing) some poetry of his own on the great liner. How cool is that!? The most interesting find (for me, personally) was a unique poem written by someone in my state, in a town not far from my own. That definitely grabbed my attention! Overall, I'm thrilled to find this collection. There's some excellent imag I'm so impressed with this collection of Titanic articles, poetry, etc. What fun this was for me to read!
