   This book, as usual to their style, contained a lot of information on the recipes that they choose. My criticism is that I don't think their choice of recipes for each region was the best, my expertise being in Caribbean cooking. There wasn't even a recipe for borscht in the Russian region!    This is a fun read. Seriously :) if you like to read cookbooks. You can learn some fun stuff about various countries and what kinds of foods you are likely to find there. It contains a lot of recipes I am not likely to try, unless of course the next family party is a Russian party (after everybody has finished reading "Train to Potevka"). This is a fun read.    Some really awesome sounding recipes. Yea, the book isn't too well organized but the information provided is great. They writers explain all their decisions that went into writing each recipe, why they chose this over that. That sort of thing. I'm excited to start cooking! Some really awesome sounding recipes.
