Some of these recipes are really good and of course some of them are horrible. My best advice to anyone just starting to use the recipes in this book is to watch out for the recipes labeled "easy" that involve quartering and skinning a whole fryer chicken. That is in no way easy and I will never do that again. Whenever it calls for a whole fryer chicken I just used chicken breasts. Another disadvantage of this book for American users is that there are a lot of recipes for rabbit and quail and such, stuff that is not readily available, and there are also a lot of recipes that call for ingredients that I could never find in America. I'm sure it would be great for the French, though!

Great. Includes a summary of Dukan diet (you don't need to buy the book, really), and the recipes are great. I thought Dukan diet was boring until I read this book. I don't give it 5 stars because it doesn't include pictures of the recipes. Great. Includes a summary of Dukan diet (you don't need to buy the book, really), and the recipes are great. If you're on the diet and need some inspiration this might help. It would have gotten 4 stars if there were some sweets without artificial sweeteners. Anybody heard of beet puree? If you've read the book, you already have the basics. That said, the pictures are rather nice. If you're on the diet and need some inspiration this might help. My husband and I lost quite a bit of weight using this method. A good book that explains the "rules" of the diet very clearly. My husband and I lost quite a bit of weight using this method. A good book that explains the "rules" of the diet very clearly.
